PHL17: Jimmy Rollins and the Phillies celebrate “Bollywood” at Union League
When it comes to Phillies Charity event themes, Jimmy Rollins and the Rollins Family Foundation never seem to disappoint. From Havana to Harlem to Celebrity Bowling, Jimmy always seems to get the team to great locales that make for great photos. Which brings us to Jimmy’s fourth annual charity gala. This year Jimmy hosted his team at swanky Union League for a “Bollywood” flavored event. Jimmy and his Phillies friends attended in classic Indian Bollywood inspired gear.
The Rollins Family Foundation is a 501 c3 non-profit organization and is dedicated to making healthy food available to children and families most in need including at risk youth in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Access to healthy food is at the core of many issues that face the Delaware Valley including education, crime and major health risks. The Rollins Family Foundation has also partnered with local organizations committed to providing fresh food to those families.
